| Acid reflux,
also known as "reflux esophagi is", is a tenderness of
the esophagus caused by regurgitation of the contents of the stomach.
Acid reflux is most often recognized by its warning sign of "heartburn".
Acid reflux generally occurs because the lower esophageal sphincter
(LES) relaxes allowing stomach juices back up into the esophagus.
This is also called gastro esophageal reflux.
A disease that causes heartburn when
acid from the stomach flows up into the throat. Acid reflux can
trigger asthma and make it harder to treat.Acid reflux is a muscular
weakness disease, not an acid problem. However, since there are
no typical treatments to tackle the problem directly, acid-blocking
medications are commonly used to treat the problem. In homeopathy,
an agent is used that will address internalized anger and muscular
weakness.
Today, in our drug-oriented society,
the treatment of acid reflux is mostly based on the domination of
acid. These drugs are promoted as speculate cures for heartburn
for millions of people. |
